Andy Scott, President    president@woodcreeklittleleague.com

Hello! My name is Andy Scott. My wife Heather and I have 6 kids, 3 of which play ball through Woodcreek Little League. We have been a part of the league since 2013. This is my 3rd year on the board and I am seriously so exited to be part of it! Woodcreek Little League has given our family some great moments, it's given us a lot of amazing friendships and it's a place our family loves to be. I will sometimes sway to the side of anti-politics, I will usually lean to the side where everyone gets an opportunity and I will always let the kids be the priority. I look forward to meeting all of our players and their families out at the ball fields. Don't be afraid to stop and introduce yourself, WE ARE ALL ON THE SAME TEAM OUT THERE!

Norm Henry, Vice - President & Scheduler

vicepresident@woodcreeklittleleague.com

Hello, my wife Dee & I relocated to Roseville in 2017 after I retired from a 30-year law enforcement career. We were lucky to have two adult children and five of our grandkids follow us up here. We love our grandkids dearly, and I especially enjoy sharing my passion for baseball with them. I have been part of Woodcreek since 2018 when my grandson Zachary signed up for T-ball. I have now managed him in T-ball, Farm, and this abbreviated year in AA. My grandson Landon just started T-ball, and I have three more waiting their turn. Prior to Woodcreek Little League, I spent 12 years involved with Milpitas National Little League. I managed my son Craig through Juniors, and coached seniors. I served as lower division player agent, umpire, and vice president along the way. My greatest joy continues to be imparting my love and respect for the game of baseball to my players, making the game fun for them, and watching their confidence blossom as they learn new skills. It would be my honor to assist Woodcreek Little League in helping develop our youth by serving on the board

Kim Grigsby, Secretary and Safety Officer

My boys have played for Woodcreek Little League for ten years.  In that time I have been an Assistant coach, team parent, score keeper, committee volunteer, board member and above all a huge fan for my boys and yours. I love the game of baseball. I have reached a point in my life where I feel like I have the time to give back to the league that has been a part of our lives for so many years.  I am really excited about the year to come.   Thank you for giving me the opportunity to represent our amazing baseball community.

Hello everyone! I'm Philip and I've been coaching in WLL since 2015 and on the Board since 2018. I've had the honor of serving as a Player Agent, Tournament Director, helping on several committees, and managing spring, all-star, and fall teams. When I'm not volunteering with WLL I'm working with the Placer County Grand Jury or losing to my 11 year old on the golf course. In the 2020-2021 seasons, I look forward to bringing back the fun and camaraderie of recreational baseball to the families in our league at the premier baseball facility in the region.

Hello! My husband Andy & I have 6 kids and love living in Roseville and being involved in Little League.  I grew up on the Little League fields of Rancho Cordova where I played baseball, watched my brother play baseball and generally spent every night and weekend there while my dad was busy coaching, umping and eventually becoming league President.  I work full time in the disability/education community, run a non-profit that I founded, and volunteer as a coach for Special Olympics. As a busy mom of 6, I need and understand the importance of getting information in a timely manner and look forward to helping making Woodcreek Little League an amazing experience for all!

Hi guys, my name is Derek Truax and I have been with Woodcreek Little League since 2011. My wife Kristina and I have watched our older boy Chayse go from farms level all the way through Woodcreek LL, and now he’s at the high school level. I spent many years coaching or assistant coaching for him and now I am doing it all over again for my younger son Gavyn who is currently in AAA. This league has been so great to my family over the years, that I felt it is time to give back, so this is year 1 of what I hope to be many years of being a Woodcreek Board Member. Fun facts about me: I’m a huge Raiders fan, love to work out at the gym, and love hanging out with friends. I’m very excited for this up and coming season, these brand new fields, and getting to know this Woodcreek family. Please say hi if you see me out at the fields.

Hello, Woodcreek Little League family! My wife, Hurshey, and I have twin boys Jovin (11) and Rajan (11). Both boys have played for Woodcreek Little League since T-Ball Division. Over the years, I have assisted coaches as a parent volunteer during baseball games. As a family we have been active in multiple community sports programs. I have served as a coach in basketball and took on team parent responsibilities in soccer. As Roseville residence for the past 10 plus years we are actively involved in the community and I would be honored to serve on the board of directors to give our players and families the best little league experience.

Hey all! My name is Gregg Shaw and I'll be your AAA Player Agent this season. This year marks our fourth year with Woodcreek Little League and we couldn't be more excited to be back on the field and see everyone. I've coached and managed teams in WLL at various levels ranging from Farm all the way to Juniors where our two older sons, Lukas and Maddox, currently play. I've spent the last couple years at the AAA level and am happy to answer any questions or help in any way to make this season your best yet.

Ryan Blyth, AA Player Agent

aarep@woodcreeklittleleague.com

My wife Jennie and I have 1 son – Kory, who has been in Woodcreek Little League for 5 years now, in which I have managed and/or coached for 5 years here as well. I’m super excited to continue on the Board, as this league has given our family many amazing memories, as well as some incredible friendships along the way. The game of baseball has been part of our lives since birth, as I played through Sac State, and my Dad had a career with Cubs’ organization. I look forward to continuing to be a part of the WLL Board and Community, giving back to this amazing league and getting to know you all better.

Dan Barber, Farm Player Agent

farmrep@woodcreeklittleleague.com

My wife Michelle and I are proud parents of boy/girl twins, Danny and Katie. For the last 3 years I have been sharing my love and knowledge of baseball with them. I myself played competitively through junior college at Consumnes River. Now I get my fix playing slow pitch softball. It leaves me sore and limping around work the following morning but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Last year I attended a board meeting looking for information about managing a team and was pleased to find a group that was as passionate and dedicated to youth baseball as myself. A dozen meetings later and I am now officially on the board serving as your Majors Player Agent. Contact me with any questions you have about our Majors Division
